LiquidCapital is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Creditors Manager. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly skilled Creditors Team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Creditors ManagerJOB DESCRIPTION:
The Accounts Payable Manager (Creditors Manager) oversees the full accounts payable function, ensuring accurate, timely processing of invoices and payments. This role manages a team, improves processes, create efficiencies, maintains strong relationships with dealerships, repairers and service providers, and ensures compliance with financial policies and regulations.
DUTIES/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage the accounts payable team, including training and performance management
• Review and sign off payment files
• Review creditors ageing
• Support month-end, half financial year end, financial year end process
• Review and sign off dealerships’ confirmation balances
• Review and sign off balance sheet recons
• Review and clear reconciling items on the Expense report
• Review and clear reconciling items on the Open Auth Report
• Review daily integration error report
• Maintain attendance register daily
• Maintain excellent working relationships with external suppliers such as Dealerships, Repairers and Service Providers
• Ensure the Accounts Payable team respond to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly
• Assist staff with unresolved reconciling items on the accounts
• Regular reporting and analysis to key senior managers in the business
• Create efficiencies within the department
• Ad-hoc duties to support the business
• Management of a large team (±30 staff members)
EDUCATION:
- Grade 12 /Matric
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong computer and business solutions software skills
- Strong interdepartmental communication abilities
- Deadline driven and strong sense of urgency
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- A good knowledge and understanding of the Accounts Payable function with a minimum of 5 years’
- experience managing the Accounts Payable department
- Proven experience within a high-volume accounts payable environment
- 3 or more years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Must be able to multi-task

- Reliable or own transport
