MotorHappy is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Sales Agent. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and highly skilled Sales Team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The insurance Sales Agent will be responsible for selling full Comprehensive insurance products and all other related insurance products, providing exceptional customer service, and handling policy-related inquiries. This role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of short-term insurance policies, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sell comprehensive insurance policies to new and/or existing customers
• Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate product information
• Follow up on leads and convert them into successful sales
• Ensure optimal service delivery through multiple communication channels, including phone and email
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and address customer concerns professionally
• Assist clients with policy documentation and claims processes related to total loss insurance
• Perform data entry and validate customer documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Accurately log cases and interactions in the system
• Meet and exceed sales targets while adhering to compliance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to drive business success
• Ability to work flexible hours when required
EDUCATION:
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the full FAIS and RE05 qualifications
- Must meet fit and proper requirements
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in insurance or a related field
- Previous experience in the short-term insurance industry is advantageous
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Advantageous – Bilingual/Multilingual
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Criminal and Credit Clear
- Reliable or own transport
